We believe that price matters.
Our price is equal to the AWS on demand price with no mark-up.

Our compute price is equal to the AWS price. No markup. This means you basically get the functionality of our platform at no extra cost. Pretty sweet..

We believe that price matters. Our pricing model is quite revolutionary in the data cloud space. It allows you to compute the data you want at the lowest possible cost.
Pricing is pay-as-you-go and based on compute usage. Your cost is [ usage x AWS on-demand rate ]. Our rate is equal to the AWS on-demand price with no markup.
In addition, we are 100% transparent about the nodes we use to run the query. Some competitors will charge based on a "compute credit", e.g. $3 per credit.
The problem with this is that you won't know what node is being used under the hood. This is important because the smaller the node, the longer the compute time and the more money you will spend.
In the Easy Access Plan you pay at the end of the month for the data you used in that month and there is no contract. Every customer starts on the Easy Access Plan so that they can get comfortable with the platform and make sure that it is a good fit without making any commitments. See it as an extended trial.
Once customers are fully up and running and satisfied most customers transition to the Enterprise Plan. This usually happens after ~3 months. On the Enterprise Plan customers have access to all platform features.
There is no difference in price between the Easy Access Plan and the Enterprise Plan, but on the Enterprise Plan customers purchase compute capacity in advance.
Data is securely stored on the customer's AWS S3 account. This ensures that the customer always has access to their data.
Some competitors store data on the competitor's account. Sometimes even in a proprietary data format. This creates a "lock-in". We dislike lock-ins. We believe that the only way to keep you as a customer is to make you a happy customer.
Combining data volumes from multiple customers allows us to obtain better pricing from AWS as we reserve compute capacity ahead of time. Our margin is the difference between the AWS on-demand compute price and the price we are able to obtain from AWS.
As our data volume grows we may be able to obtain even better pricing from AWS and pass these savings on to customers. We play a volume game, not a margin enhancement game like most of our competitors do.
Yes. We help you onboard with iomete. In addition, we offer data engineering support for $200 per hour.
We have added this recently to our service offering as we found that smaller customers often do not have the required expertise to create an effective data stack. In stead of hiring an expensive data engineer at $150k per year, these customers can purchase variable support from us when they need it at way lower cost.
Larger customers typically do have their own data engineering team and can use our team for specific expertise or to add extra capacity when sprinting on a project.
